THE LOVE WE LOST Aarav Malhotra — Male Lead Aarav is the kind of person who naturally draws attention without trying. Confident, intelligent and observant, he has a playful side that comes out especially around Meher. With her, he is affectionate, teasing, protective and sometimes a little possessive, but never controlling. He values loyalty and trust above almost everything. He notices small details, understands people quickly and rarely lets anyone fool him. At college, Aarav is deeply in love with Meher and believes their relationship is strong enough to survive anything. Four years later, at 24, Aarav has become a successful entrepreneur. His professional life is exactly where he wanted it to be, but emotionally, one part of his life never moved forward. He still doesn't understand why Meher left him—and that unanswered question has remained with him for four years. --- Meher Kapoor — Female Lead Meher is warm, expressive, playful and emotionally intense. She loves deeply and gives her relationships her whole heart. Around Aarav, she is comfortable enough to be silly, romantic, jealous, stubborn and completely herself. She has strong self-respect and takes trust very seriously. Once she believes someone has betrayed her, she finds it extremely difficult to look at that person the same way again. At 19, Meher is living her happiest college days with Aarav, completely unaware that one Valentine's Day will change everything. After leaving college, she rebuilds her life on her own. Four years later, at 23, she is an independent and successful interior designer. She appears stronger and more mature, but the pain of what happened four years ago still exists somewhere beneath that strength. --- Rhea Sinha — Villain Rhea appears sweet, composed and harmless to the people around her. Beneath that image, however, she is calculating, manipulative and dangerously obsessed with Aarav. She doesn't see Aarav's love for Meher as something she should respect. To her, Meher is simply the person standing between herself and what she believes she deserves. Rhea is intelligent enough to manipulate situations without immediately looking suspicious. She knows how to create believable stories, hide her intentions and make other people see exactly what she wants them to see. Her obsession eventually becomes the reason Aarav and Meher lose four years of their lives. --- Kabir Khanna — Aarav's Best Friend Kabir is funny, sarcastic, easy-going and usually the one who brings some lightness into serious situations. He loves teasing Aarav about Meher and knows Aarav's personality almost better than anyone else. But beneath the jokes, Kabir is fiercely loyal. When Aarav's life falls apart after the breakup, Kabir stays beside him even when he doesn't understand what really happened. Four years later, Kabir is still Aarav's closest friend and is already in a relationship with Anaya. When small inconsistencies begin appearing in the Valentine's Day story, Kabir becomes one of the people determined to find out what actually happened. --- Anaya Sharma — Meher's Best Friend Anaya is sweet, emotionally intelligent and observant. She understands Meher's moods without needing an explanation and has always been protective of her. After the breakup, Anaya stays beside Meher and accepts her version of what happened because she sees how deeply Meher was hurt. But Anaya is not someone who blindly accepts assumptions forever. Four years later, when certain details surrounding Valentine's Day stop making sense, she begins questioning everything she once believed. Together with Kabir, she slowly starts connecting the missing pieces of the past. --- Family Characters Aarav's Parents - Rajiv Malhotra — Father - Nandini Malhotra — Mother Meher's Parents - Sanjay Kapoor — Father - Pooja Kapoor — Mother
